วิธีการสอนภาษาอังกฤษแบบ T.P.R. (Total Physical Response)

เทคนิคการสอนภาษาด้วย TPR – Total Physical Response หมายถึง หมายถึง การสอนภาษาโดยการใช้ท่าทาง โดยให้ผู้เรียนฟังคำสั่งจากครูแล้วผู้เรียนทำตาม เป็นการประสานการฟังกับการใช้การเคลื่อนไหวของร่างกายเป็นการตอบรับให้ทำตามโดยผู้เรียนไม่ต้องพูด วิธีสอนภาษาโดยการใช้ท่าทางใช้สำหรับการเริ่มต้นเรียนภาษาที่สอง

ประเภทของ TPR

ประเภทที่ 1 TPR-B (Total Physical Response-Body) เป็นการสอนโดยใช้คำสั่งที่มีคำศัพท์ เกี่ยวกับการเคลื่อนไหวของร่างกาย (body movement) เช่น นั่งลง (sit down) ยืนขึ้น (stand up) เลี้ยวซ้าย (turnleft) เลี้ยวขวา (turn right) เดินหน้า (go straight) ถอยหลัง (back) กระโดด (jump) ปรบมือ (clap your hand) หยุด (stop) กลับหลังหัน (turn around) ชูมือขึ้น (raise your hand) เอามือลง (put down your hand) โบกมือ(wave your hand) เป็นต้น กิจกรรมหรือเกมที่ใช้อาจใช้เกม Simon Says เช่น Simon Says touch your Norse ถ้า ไม่ได้พูดคำว่า Simon Says ไม่ต้องทำตาม

ประเภทที่ 2 TPR-O (Total Physical Response-Objects)เป็นการสอนโดยใช้คำสั่งที่มีคำศัพท์ที่เป็นสิ่งของ (objects) เช่น สมุด (book) ปากกา (pen) ดินสอ (pencil) ยางลบ (eraser) ไม้บรรทัด (ruler) แผนที่(map)โต๊ะ (table) เก้าอี้ (chair) ประตู (door) นาฬิกา (clock) ไฟฉาย (flash light) ดอกไม้ (flower) ใบไม้ (leaf) ก้อนหิน (rock) จาน (plate) ชาม (bowl) แก้วน้ำ (glass) ช้อน (spoon) ส้อม (fork) หวี (comb) กระจก (mirror) เป็นต้น อย่าไปติดการสอนในชั้นเรียนอาจพาผู้เรียนออกนอกห้องเรียน เพื่อเรียนรู้วัตถุสิ่งของต่าง ๆ หรืออาจใช้เกม bring me (a pen, a red pencil) สำหรับวัตถุประสงค์ของเทคนิคการสอนภาษาด้วย TPR นี้ต้องการที่จะให้ผู้เรียนฟังคำสั่งให้เข้าใจและทำตามคำสั่ง โดยผู้สอนมีเป้าหมายให้ผู้เรียนรู้จักกลุ่มคำเกี่ยวกับสิ่งของต่างๆ

ประเภทที่ 3 TPR-P(Total Physical Response-Picture)เป็นการสอนเกี่ยวกับการออกคำสั่งที่เกี่ยวข้องกับรูปภาพ การเลือก ภาพที่ใช้ในการเรียนการสอนควรใช้ให้เหมาะสมกับนักศึกษา โดยยกตัวอย่างคำถามจากภาพ เมื่อครูถามแล้วให้ผู้เรียนไปชี้ภาพให้ดู ไม่มีการพูดภาพที่ครูกำหนดควรเป็นภาพตัดแปะจะได้เคลื่อนย้าย คน สัตว์ สิ่งของ ไปไว้ตามตำแหน่งต่างๆของภาพได้ เพื่อตรวจสอบว่าผู้เรียน เป็นการสอนโดยใช้คำสั่งที่เกี่ยวข้องกับรูปภาพ มีเป้าหมายให้ผู้เรียนรู้จักกลุ่มคำเกี่ยวกับภาพต่างๆ มี 3 ประเภท คือ 1. ภาพโปสเตอร์ แผ่นพับ รูปภาพที่มีอยู่แล้ว 2. ภาพตัดแปะจากผ้า หรือ กระดาษ 3. ภาพวาดลายเส้นหรือภาพสีที่ผลิตโดยครูหรือผู้เรียน หรือภูมิปัญญา ท้องถิ่น

ประเภทที่ 4 TPR-S (Total Physical Response-Story telling) เป็นการสอนภาษาโดยการเล่าเรื่อง โดยครูเล่าเรื่องคล้ายกับชีวิตประจำวันของนักเรียน ให้เริ่มจากง่าย ๆ ก่อนเป็นการสอนเกี่ยวกับการออกคำสั่งที่เกี่ยวข้องกับรูปภาพ การเลือก ภาพที่ใช้ในการเรียนการสอนควรใช้ให้เหมาะสม โดยยกตัวอย่างคำถามจากภาพ เมื่อครูถามแล้วให้ผู้เรียนไปชี้ภาพให้ดู ไม่มีการพูดภาพที่ครูกำหนดควรเป็นภาพตัดแปะจะได้เคลื่อนย้าย คน สัตว์ สิ่งของ ไปไว้ตามตำแหน่งต่างๆของภาพได้ เพื่อตรวจสอบว่าผู้เรียน รู้จักภาพเหล่านั้นจริงๆ ไม่ใช่การท่องจำภาพเท่านั้นเป็นการสอนที่ใช้เรื่องเล่าการสอนภาษาโดยการใช้รูปภาพ TPR-P การสอนภาษาด้วยการเล่าเรื่องนี้ ควรใช้เมื่อผู้เรียนมีความพร้อมด้านภาษาอังกฤษ

จุดประสงค์ของ TPR-S คือต้องการให้ผู้เรียนฟังครูพูดให้เข้าใจและทำท่าทาง โดยผู้เรียน

ไม่ต้องพูด เพียงแต่แสดงท่าทางประกอบการเล่าเรื่องเท่านั้นจากการที่ข้าพเจ้าได้ปฏิบัติการสอนในวิชาภาษาอังกฤษ ข้าพเจ้ามองว่าการเรียนภาษาอังกฤษเป็นเรื่องที่ยากสำหรับนักเรียนชั้นประถมศึกษา ครูจะต้องใช้ความพยายามในการฝึกฝนนักเรียน หรือทำให้นักเรียนมีใจรักในภาษาอังกฤษจึงจะทำให้เรียนภาษาอังกฤษได้ดี แต่การที่เราจะเป็นครูสอนภาษาอังกฤษที่ดียิ่งยากมากกว่าหลายเท่า

Week#4 Learning Log 24/ 06/ 13

Today, my group present about vocabulary teaching. We are very excited. Other group present after we finished. There are pronunciation teaching, culture teaching, wed based learning teaching, and communicative language teaching. Then, teacher conclude all teaching methods to us.

Teacher talks about curriculum, syllabus, and lesson plan. We must write lesson plan for test.

Today, teacher talks two things. It’s curriculum and all teaching method in classroom. And he gives to us write syllabus.

I think, I can bring process of learning and teaching method to apply in classroom for my students and I can write lesson plan.

A New Family

I’m too old to have children now,' Kim said to her friend. 'But I have a

lot of money. I have enough money to adopt children. I am going to adopt two baby children. I am going to adopt a baby girl and a baby boy.' Kim went to the adoption agency. She said, 'I want two babies, please. I want a little girl and a little boy.' The woman at the agency said okay. She told Kim to fill out many forms. Kim had to fill out lots of forms. After she filled out all the forms, Kim gave them to the woman. The woman told her that now Kim must wait. She had to wait for the two babies. 'How long do I have to wait?' Kim asked. The woman said Kim might have to wait one year. Kim said, 'That’s okay. I can wait one year.

This article is A New Family. Kim talks about She’s friend. She has a lot of money but she don’t have baby. She want to have two babies, a girl and a boy She went to the adoption agency for children. She can wait for the two children that she loves for a year.

I think she has a lot of money but she was not happy because she don’t have baby. So she needed someone to take care of her when she is senile

Week#3 Listening skill ( 19/June/2013 )

Vocabulary	Phonetic-symbol	Meaning
suggest ( v.)	/ səˈdʒest /	- แนะนำ/เสนอ - to tell somebody about a suitable person, thing, method, etc. for a particular job or purpose Ex. She suggested Paris as a good place for the conference.
consider (v.)	/ kənˈsɪdə(r) /	- พิจารณา/กลั่นกรอง - to think about something, especially the feelings of other people, and be influenced by it when making a decision, etc Ex. You should consider other people before you act.

Today, I practice to listening skill. I listening VOA special English. This topic is “Are you learning English? These songs may help.

In this topic, she said about teaching by using songs. Teachers can teach students with the songs. Students or learners can listen songs for improve their English language. Everyone like to listen the songs . Listening to music or songs is a important way to learn English language. Listening to music not only relax but it can develop your listening skill.

My opinion, I think that listening to music is the best teaching because students can practice listening skill themselves. They remember the content from the songs.
